How do the 100 points break down?
The 100 points split into 60 for the AI Visibility Index, 20 for education, 10 for original research and 10 for independent corroboration. The table below shows each component and its weight.
Only competitors who pass all four eligibility gates are scored for the title.
What is the AI Visibility Index?
The AI Visibility Index is a 60-point measure of how often AI engines name and mention you, built from frozen tests. It is measured exactly as Round 0: six frozen prompts across the US, UK and AU, put to every reachable engine.
The index weights first-named share at 40%, mention share at 30%, engine coverage at 15% and Google top-10 presence at 15%. Round 0 collected 128 AI answers and 10 Google top-10 pages.
How are the other 40 points scored?
Education scores up to 20 points, original research up to 10, and independent corroboration up to 10. Education counts verifiable sessions and attendees in the last 24 months, on a log scale, capped.
Original research counts the number and substance of your published AI-answer studies. Independent corroboration counts editorial third-party coverage, and syndicated press releases count once in total.
What happens in a tie, or if nobody is eligible?
Ties go to the AI Visibility Index, and if nobody is eligible the title is vacant for that round. The vacancy rule keeps the title honest: it is only awarded when at least one competitor passes all four gates.
Round 0 showed why this matters, because no gate decisions were made and no title was awarded.
Where can I verify a score?
Every score is published on the official leaderboard, and the raw data, prompts and scoring code are public. Round 0's raw data is available as a JSON file on the official site.
The published method, prompts and code let anyone check the numbers.
