What happened in Round 0?

Round 0 was a baseline measurement on 4 October 2026, and no title was awarded. Six frozen prompts were tested across the US, UK and AU on every reachable engine, producing 128 AI answers and 10 Google top-10 pages.

James Dooley recorded the highest Round 0 score, 72.1, and was named first most often overall; Vithurs was named first most often on ChatGPT. Marc Moeller scored 0.0, named in 0 of 128 answers. Scores are reference only, because nobody has passed the eligibility gates yet.

What happens in Round 1?

Round 1 is the first title round: entries close 12 October, measurement runs 13 October, and results publish on 14 October 2026. The title goes to the highest-scoring eligible competitor, and stays vacant if nobody passes the gates.

Gate decisions are published with the round, each citing a public URL. Full details sit on the official Round 1 page and the leaderboard.

What can change between rounds?

The rules are frozen from publication until after Round 1, and any later change is versioned and dated. The measurement method for the AI Visibility Index stays exactly as Round 0, so rounds are comparable.
